For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus said, "You are the light of the world . . . Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
What beagn as God's love for us became a light in us. He commands us to let that light shine before men so that God will be glorified.
Sometimes it's not so easy ... people may laugh or make fun of us when we let our light shine. They may avoid us or talk about us.
But Jesus is our forever friend and gives us the strength to stand up to the attacks of the enemy! And considering what He went through for us, it's the least we can do to take a stand for Christ and share the Gospel everwhere we go.
