Violin,keys/synth, Background Vocals: Mary Jane Johnson

Mary Jane has been singing for the Lord since she was 10 years old, and currently is singing with her church’s adult choir. And for something completely different, she plays fiddle for the Joliet Dulcimer and Folk Society. She really enjoys the traditional American music that the group does and the ministry it provides for the senior citizens in the Joliet area. Mary Jane also sings and plays fiddle for her church’s Praise Team, and feels that this is God’s calling to her to bring more contemporary music to her church family.

Mary Jane, a graduate of the University of Illinois, retired a few years ago as Executive Director of the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra, and is at home in Shorewood, Illinois with her recently retired husband, also a U of I alum, Rich. Their two sons, Benjamin and Samuel, are working in Chicago.

Guitars, Vocals: Henry Jonas

I was born in Elk Grove IL. on July 24. I grew up in Roselle IL. After graduating from high school I went on to become a sheet metal worker. Some of my hobbies are: spending time with my wife and two children, singing in the church choir, boating, recording bands, fishing, bike riding, camping and writing music.

My favorite snack: I really like spicy foods.

Equipment I use: Fender, Charvel& Gibson guitars, Marshall, and Fender amplification, Rocktron processing and a bunch of other stuff!

I became a member of the band in February of 2001. Before this I was in numerous rock/heavy metal bands. As my faith grew so did my desire to get away from the negativity associated with these bands, and a strong desire to reach out to others with God's message grew.

It is a blessing to be able to use my abilities for Gods purpose. I do not want to see anyone leave this earth without knowing Jesus Christ and the awesome free gift of salvation he has given us! Music is just one of the many ways in which we can worship our God. I invite YOU to come out and praise Him with us!!
